David Putney developed an interest body language and non-verbal communication as a child...a shared interest with his father who worked in the mental health field.

With a twenty five year career working for such companies as American Express, Intel and Marvell Semiconductor, he has seen the good and the bad, the aware and the oblivious, the effective and the impotent that populate every office in the world.

In addition to his corporate experience, David has been teaching martial arts and the awareness that it requires since the 1990s.

Woven throughout all of this has been his childhood fascination with non-verbal communication and how we use it...or fail to use it...in every aspect of our lives. And, while a better understanding of body language is not mind reading, it does give people who understand it an edge.
